This short history of the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital was published in 1999 for the 150th anniversary of its opening in Great Ormond Street. The preface is by the late Peter Fisher, former Clinical & Research Director of RLHH. Twenty years have elapsed since this booklet went to print and it is poignant to consider how the complex medico-politics of the intervening years have shaped the fate of this institution. Many of the core values survive to the present day, however, and many believe that only a few turns of the scientific and political wheels are required, before homeopathic medicine is once again fully integrated into modern healthcare in the UK.
